I mean it just gets ucky often. Oh, I know...how about a nice thin cotton one to go on the hand first, then the brace/splint then an splint sock. This way the thin cotton one would absorb the sweat and I wouldn't have to wash mine so much. And at $50+ in cost...well it ain't cheap in my book! I would love fun stuff for JRA people. It's bad enough for the older crowd, my heart just breaks for them...anything to give a little smile to them...anything. And it wouldn't be hard. I use to sew alot and I know I could whip one up pretty simply...I don't sew anymore due to my hands. Anyone say prototype here :-)Deb aka AbcsOfrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12619087592028571941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148674654584849237.post-90166706233309610582011-06-21T08:43:05.307-07:002011-06-21T08:43:05.307-07:00Jan...thank you for the comment about my junk art....Jan...thank you for the comment about my junk art..both types :-) Did you talk with your rheumatologist about the prednisone schedule and about wanting to lower your usage? Mine was the complex schedule and you may want to also ask about getting some 1mg prednisone pills for this...a 2.5 drop is a BIG drop in that world if one has been doing it for a long time. This way it could be done more gradually to give your body the time to learn to reproduce the prednisone you are not giving it. You would have two prescriptions...the 5mg and the 1mg one. It is best if you work this out with your doctor. You may need pain support during this process also until your body can kick back up the prednisone levels. And I DO know how much you want to reduce prednisone use...I really, really do :-)Deb aka AbcsOfrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12619087592028571941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148674654584849237.post-64487940576630874832011-06-21T05:49:42.500-07:002011-06-21T05:49:42.500-07:00Fun art!! You may have a business plan for your future.

I think you were the one who commented on my blog to alternate prednisone back and forth for reducing it. I am trying that today with 12.5 mg. and yesterday tried again 10 mg. I don't know why I want to do this so much, but I do.Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08061517211101084120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148674654584849237.post-88901887039731459492011-06-21T05:29:55.419-07:002011-06-21T05:29:55.419-07:00i LOVE that idea! seems it wouldn't be too ha...i LOVE that idea! seems it wouldn't be too hard for someone with skills to make a stretchy cover. imagine how much fun it would be for the kids with JRA, or other things...even casts!Clarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13062114889126850617noreply@blogger.com
